WC Daegu Day 1 - Ouhaddou and Adamu to final, Rodriguez and Brahimi to semifinal
800m Men Newcomer Rafith Rodriguez (COL) won his heat in 1:48.26min. over US champion Robinson and Hungarian top runner Kazi qualifiying directly to the semifinals. Mahfoud Brahimi (ALG) was faster in 1:46.94min. in 4th place in a fast race with World Champion Rudisha. He qualified 3rd fastest for the semifinals.
