Triple Jump Women Final: Triple jump sensation Caterina Ibarguen (COL) won the Bronze medal in a close battle for the medals with 14m84!1500m Men Semifinal: Abdalaati Iguider (MAR) qualified for the 1500m Final in a tactical race. Zebene Alemayehu (ETH) couldnt get through to the final.
3000m Steeple Men Final: Hamid Ezzine (MAR) placed 9th in the steeple chase final.
Javelin Women Qualification: Katahrina Molitor (GER) was the first thrower in Group A and qualified overall 3rd best for the final with her first throw.
800m Women Heats: Halima Hachlaf (MAR), Rosibel Garcia (COL) and Zahra Bouras (ALG) were all Top 4 automatic qualifier for the semifinals.
