AfS has been given the right for the Athletes´ liaison for the International Athletics Meeting in Haldensleben 2012. The meeting will be held in the city of Haldensleben near Magdeburg (100km west from Berlin) on July 15th, 2012 just 2 weeks before the Olympic Games in London.Several sponsors has already been secured to guarentee a high quality of events.
Managing Director André Thomson, who took the meetings in Bottrop and Cottbus to leading positions in the World Rankings of international competitions, will look once again into bringing national top athletes and international top performers to this competitions. "The date is perfectly placed for all athletes, specially foreign athletes who resides in Europe during that time, to prepare and test themselves towards the Olympic Games.
